I've worked on major projects in manufactuirng, FMCG and service industries working with organisations such as Wartsila, Rolls Royce, Unilever, Scottish Government, Welsh Assembly Government, Wales Audit Office, Tesco, WalMart (ASDA), Marks and Spencer, Kraft, CO-OP, Spar, Whitbread, 3663, Finlays, Greencore, GKN, ASSA ABLOY and many more. I worked extensively on lean projects in the service sector (both private and public sectors) in utilities, banking, and council public services.

I have also undertaken visiting roles at following universities, particularly in delivering executive workshops or postgraduate training, at:

I'm a regular speaker at different international conferences and engages with both lean professionals and general business executives through public media including appearances on BBC.

Peter Peterka

Peter Peterka is the President of SixSigma.us and Leading Consultant on the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Peter has 20 years of experience performing as a Master Black Belt, and extensive experience in industry as an improvement specialist and engineer with an expertise in DFSS, working with numerous companies, including 3M, Dell, Dow, GE, HP, Intel, Motorola, Seagate, Xerox and many government institutions including NATA and US Army.

Peter is a certified Master Black Belt and holds an MS degree in Statistics from Iowa State and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue. Michael Hoseus, a co-author of the Shingo Award-winning book Toyota Culture, developed his TPS skills at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky where he worked at the General Manager level in both Production and Human Resources being mentored by his Japanese sensei. His Toyota process experience includes production, engineering, maintenance, safety, personnel, employee relations, benefits/payroll and training and development. He learned first-hand how Toyota’s success hinges on integrating their production and human systems to create the Toyota Way. Mike is the Executive Director of the Center for Quality People and Organizations and President of Lean Culture Enterprises. Tracey Richardson

I was hired by Toyota Motor Manufacturing KY (TMMK) in 1988 at the start up of the first North American Toyota plant, worked ten years on the production floor from hourly to management then moved on to Human Resources as a trainer/sensei. I worked one-on-one with Japanese trainers and certified by the Toyota Institute in Japan in the 8 step TBP Problem solving. I have over 460 hours training in the Toyota Production System.

Created our business Teaching Lean Incorporated in 2003--now Ernie Richardson and I travel all over the U.S. teaching and implementing Lean Transformation in various industries. Ron Pereira

Co-Founder and Partner of Gemba Academy. Ron has more than 15 years experience in various manufacturing, supply chain, and senior leadership roles. Ron has held the titles of process engineer, engineering manager, master black belt, and director of manufacturing & continuous improvement. In 2002, Ron was the first American to win the Nokia Global Six Sigma and Overall Quality award in Helsinki, Finland. Ron also launched the popular LSS Academy blog which has since been rebranded and serves as Gemba Academy's blog. Mark Graban

Mark Graban is an internationally-recognized expert in the field of “Lean Healthcare,” as a consultant, author, keynote speaker, and blogger. Mark is also the Vice President of Customer Success for the software company KaiNexus, helping further their mission of "making improvement happen" in healthcare organizations and other industries.

He is the author of the book Lean Hospitals: Improving Quality, Patient Safety, and Employee Engagement (Productivity Press), which was selected for a 2009 Shingo Research and Professional Publication Award, the first healthcare book to win this award, and is being translated into eight languages. A 2nd revised edition was released in November, 2011.

Mark has also co-authored a new book, titled “Healthcare Kaizen: Engaging Front-Line Staff in Sustainable Continuous Improvements,” which was released in June 2012 and was also given the Shingo Research Award in 2013. Forrest Breyfogle

Forrest Breyfogle is a Professional Engineer and ASQ Fellow who founded Smarter Solutions in 1992. Dan Markovitz

Dan Markovitz is president of TimeBack Management, a consulting firm that radically improves performance by applying lean concepts to knowledge work.

He is a faculty member at the Lean Enterprise Institute and teaches at the Stanford University Continuing Studies Program. He also lectures on A3 thinking at the Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business.

Dan is a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences, and has consulted to organizations as diverse as Abbott Vascular, WL Gore & Associates, Intel, the City of Menlo Park, Clif Bar, CamelBak, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

His book, A Factory of One, was honored with a Shingo Research Award in 2013.

Dan lived in Japan for four years and is fluent in Japanese. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
